McDonald’s has confirmed that three new items will be gracing its menus this January. The fast food giant is aiming to alleviate those January Blues in 2025 by introducing three fresh offerings across its outlets in the UK.
From Wednesday, January 8, McDonald’s enthusiasts will have the chance to try the new Chicken Katsu One wrap. This new addition comes as a response to fans’ pleas for the return of the chain’s Katsu chicken nuggets.
The wrap includes either crispy or grilled chicken, smothered in katsu sauce, accompanied by crispy onions, cucumber, and fresh lettuce, all encased in a warm, toasted tortilla. It will only cost you £1.99 if you purchase it on a Wednesday.
However, the fast food chain has not yet disclosed the regular price at the time of writing. The Mirror has reached out to McDonald’s for this information and will update this article when we receive a response.

In addition to this, Maccies will also be launching its new barbecue Ranch Stack. This new burger boasts two 100% beef patties topped with Emmental cheese, lettuce, bacon, crispy onions, creamy ranch, and a sweet barbecue sauce, all nestled within a glazed sesame seed bun.
The final new item is the Milky Way McFlurry, which features soft dairy ice cream swirled with milk chocolate stars and malt-flavoured pieces, all crowned with a chocolate sauce.
Making a comeback to the McDonald’s menu is the McCrispy barbecue Smokehouse, a 100% crispy chicken breast fillet smothered in a smoky barbecue sauce, topped with cheddar cheese, red onion, and lettuce, all nestled in a sourdough-style sesame-topped bun. McDonald’s has confirmed that this popular item, which was first introduced in October 2023, will be available until May 6.
In addition, the much-loved Mozzarella Dippers are also making a return. These are sticks of Mozzarella cheese coated in breadcrumbs and served with a Salsa dip, available in either a three-piece or nine-piece share box.
These will also be on the menu for a while, until March 25, 2025. While McDonald’s have different menus around the world, what happens in the UK is often a reflection of what is about to happen in Ireland or the US.
