Steph Curry Made NBA History on Saturday Night

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors defeated the Chicago Bulls 132-111, improving to 26-26 on the season. 

The Warriors sit at No. 10 in the Western Conference standings. The Saturday night victory over Chicago snapped a two-game losing streak for the Warriors. 

During the win over the Bulls, Curry made NBA history. 

According to StatMamba, Curry became the oldest player (36) in NBA history to have three straight games of 30 or more points. 

He posted 34 points, four rebounds and six assists against the Bulls. 

Curry previously recorded 37 points against the Los Angeles Lakers and 32 points against the Utah Jazz

Curry entered the matchup averaging 23.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game, leading the Warriors in average points and assists. 

Golden State entered a new stage with the arrival of Jimmy Butler before the trade deadline. Butler played in his Warriors debut on Saturday night, posting 25 points, two rebounds and four assists. 

The two will look to help Golden State make a second half playoff push just after the league enters the NBA All-Star break (Feb. 14 to Feb. 16). 

They’re set to be back on the court on Monday at 8 p.m. ET against the Milwaukee Bucks
