Denver Broncos clinch 2024 playoff berth with win over Chiefs

DENVER — The Broncos are in the dance.

With their 38-0 win over the Chiefs on Sunday, the Broncos have officially clinched their first playoff berth since 2015.

Denver needed a win to secure a postseason berth, and the Broncos clinched their trip to the playoffs by beating Kansas City in Week 18. The Broncos have now snapped their eight-season playoff drought and will soon play their first postseason game since Super Bowl 50.

The Broncos earned the No. 7 seed in the AFC playoff race and will travel to face the second-seeded Buffalo Bills in the wild-card round of the playoffs.

The wild-card matchup, which will mark Denver’s first road playoff game since the 2011 season, will be the second postseason meeting between the two franchises.

The schedule for wild-card weekend has not yet been announced.
