Duke basketball continues March Madness in Newark against No. 4 seed Arizona on Thursday (9:39 p.m., CBS) in the 2025 NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16.
The top-seeded Blue Devils (33-3), who earned an 89-66 win against Baylor, will play at the Prudential Center as part of the East Regional in New Jersey. Duke has advanced to at least the Sweet 16 in each of its 15 appearances as a No. 1 seed.
With 10 newcomers, third-year head coach Jon Scheyer has his most talented roster since taking over in Durham.
Cooper Flagg, who missed two games in the ACC Tournament with an ankle injury, leads the way as the ACC Player of the Year and projected No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. He didn’t show any signs of slowing down in the Blue Devils’ 93-49 win against Mount St. Mary’s before beating up on Baylor.
Fellow freshmen Kon Knueppel – the ACC Tournament MVP – and Khaman Maluach, along with veteran guards Sion James and Tyrese Proctor, make up Duke’s most-used starting lineup.
