How to watch the Ohio State Buckeyes and Texas Longhorns in the Cotton Bowl

Notre Dame football punched their ticket to the college football National Championship on Thursday night with a 27-24 victory over Penn State. Their opponent will be determined on Friday night, as the Ohio State Buckeyes and Texas Longhorns square off in a high-stakes Cotton Bowl matchup.

The No. 5 seeded Longhorns and No. 8 seeded Buckeyes meet at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas to duke it out for a shot at the title. Ohio State has had more recent success, winning the big dance in 2015 with quarterback Cardale Jones at the helm and running back Ezekiel Elliott leading the charge with four rushing touchdowns.

The Longhorns were named National Champions in January 2006 after a 41-38 Rose Bowl victory over the USC Trojans. Both teams hope to end the drought in 2025.

The Buckeyes enter the matchup as significant 6.5-point favorites.
