What do you do if you’ve just signed a huge $244 million contract?
If you’re Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis, you buy a $41 million (US$32m) Bel-Air estate.
Davis quietly closed on the home in an off-market deal last month, putting US$12 million down, the Post reports.

The deal comes after the All-Star forward secured a buyer for his Westlake Village property for $8.5 million (US$6.6m) in January. He took a small loss on the deal, after purchasing that home for $9.6 million in 2018.
That remodelled Mediterranean home offered a pool with waterfall and slide, as well as a basketball court.
While awaiting a sale of the Westlake home, ‘The Brow’ gave Bel-Air a test drive where he rented a mansion for $50,000 a month, according to Realtor.

Davis clearly took a shine to the area and was willing to pay a hefty sum to get his dream house. reportedly paying the highest price recorded for a Bel Air Crest home.
