Interview with President Donald Trump airing ahead of Super Bowl 59: How to watch

President Donald Trump prerecorded an interview with Bret Baier that’s scheduled to be aired on Sunday, ahead of Super Bowl 59.

Part of the interview with Baier, Fox News Channel’s chief political anchor, will air at 3 p.m. ET during the Fox Super Bowl Sunday pregame show, according to Fox News.

The rest of the interview will air on Monday, the day after the Super Bowl, during “Special Report with Bret Baier.”

During the interview, which took place at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, Baier asked Trump about changes his administration made since his inauguration and the first 100 days of his presidency.

Baier posted a clip of the interview ahead of its scheduled broadcast to X, formerly Twitter.

Where to watch Trump’s Super Bowl interview

The interview will air at 3 p.m. during the Fox Super Bowl Sunday pregame show, according to Fox News.

The pregame show started at 1 p.m. and can be watched via the following:

  • Telemundo (Spanish)

The pre-show will air on the following Subscription-Based Streaming services:

  • Fubo

On the radio, the Super Bowl can be heard over the air through local Fox broadcasts.

Those who do not have any of the listed services or platforms can stream the Super Bowl for free via Tubi, Fox’s free streaming service, which will broadcast the game for the first time in 2025.

Why is Fox News conducting the interview?

Fox is broadcasting the big game this year from New Orleans, Louisiana, where the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles face off on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET, so Fox News will conduct and air the interview, according to the broadcaster.

Although a small segment aired Sunday, the rest of the interview will air on Fox News Monday, during “Special Report with Bret Baier.”

Networks rotate and take turns airing one of the biggest broadcasts of the year.

In 2024, CBS broadcasted Super Bowl 58, when the Kansas City Chiefs played against the San Francisco 49ers and won at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Did Joe Biden have a 2024 Super Bowl interview?

In 2024, former President Joe Biden declined an invitation to be interviewed during the Super Bowl pregame show during his reelection campaign, a chance that both Trump and former President Barack Obama seized during their reelection years.

Biden also turned down the chance to interview in 2023, which would have aired ahead of Super Bowl 57, the last Super Bowl Fox broadcasted.

During his presidency, Biden only participated in the interview twice, when NBC and CBS televised the game.

How many people watched the Super Bowl in 2024?

A total of 202.4 million people watched the game across all platforms.

This is how many viewers watched the 2024 Super Bowl on the following channels:

  • CBS– 120.3 million viewers
  • Univision– 2.3 million viewers
  • Nickelodeon– 1.2 million

With the help of Paramount+, Paramount Global’s (CBS’s parent company) streaming platform, Super Bowl 58 was the most streamed Super Bowl ever.
