Jessica Alba Unearthed Interview About Cash Warren Relationship

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have called it quits after almost 17 years of marriage, but it looks like the writing was kiiiinda on the wall.

Jessica opened up about her and Cash’s relationship on the “BDA Baby” podcast back in April (via Us Weekly), saying “It’s all rosy for 2 ½ years, but then after that, you become roommates. And it’s just, like, you’re roommates. You’re just going through the motion. It’s the responsibility. It’s a lot of, like, checking the boxes.”

When asked how she made sure Cash felt “tended to” in their marriage, Jessica said “If you’ve figured it out in your relationship, let me know. You know, I think that [Cash] probably gets the short end of the stick.… It’s hard. It’s impossible.”

Jessica went on to say that she and Cash tried to schedule dates where “we won’t have our phone and we’ll just talk. But then that stopped because of whatever – and so we’re just not consistent.” She also joked that Cash “basically stole my 20s and my 30s,” going on to add “We have, obviously, the friendship, the comfort of, like, ‘You’re not going anywhere.’ And so sometimes you don’t treat those people the best, right? You don’t consider their feelings in the way that you would consider other people’s feelings. So that is something that I think is a constant — it’s a constant one to work on.”

News of Jessica and Cash’s split came after Jessica was spotted without her ring—and amid her sharing some pretty cryptic quotes in an Instagram photo dump. She captioned the post “Gratitude ❤️ Here’s to a colorful past year that was filled with connection, growth, adventures, laughter, peace, sisterhood, transformation, rebirth, joy and so much love 🙏🏽 Sending hugs to everyone going through it- cheers to 2025 and even more love to come! Let’s goooo! 😘💫🐍🥂 #2025 #YearOfTheSnake #HappyNewYear.”

Oh and she added this somewhat pointed repost: “The Year of the Snake teaches us profound self-improvement, encouraging growth from within and expanding our consciousness. It reminds us that becoming a better version of ourselves allows for greater flexibility, shedding rigidity, and embracing transformation. The invitation is to open to psychic awareness, to sense the vibrations of your environment, and then use that insight to move forward on your path. This year embodies a calm, knowing energy, showing us that change fosters growth and makes us better people. This enables us as empaths and lightworkers to strive for expansion within our collective consciousness.”
