(WHTM) – Longtime Fox NFL Sunday analyst and Hall of Fame football coach Jimmy Johnson was honored with a recap of his football career during the Super Bowl pregame show.
The segment featured AI versions of Johnson through his career as a player and coach.
Coming out of the segment, Johnson thanked his family and was asked on the broadcast if this was “goodbye.”
“One day at a time,” said the 81-year-old Johnson, noting this was the “happiest time’ of his life.
Johnson won two Super Bowls as a head coach with the Dallas Cowboys and was the first football coach to win a college National Championship with the University of Miami and a Super Bowl. He also coached at Oklahoma State and served in multiple front office roles including Vice-chairman, President, and CEO of the Miami Dolphins.
