San Diego — Kyle McCord and the Syracuse offense celebrated one more time at the Holiday Bowl on Friday night, delivering a fitting capstone to a record-setting season and the start of the Fran Brown era.

The strength of the team all season, Syracuse’s offense scored the most points the team has ever recorded in a bowl game, outscoring a feisty Washington State team, 52-35, and delivering the Orange its third 10-win season since 1992.
