School closings and delays. (7News)

ARLINGTON Va. (7News) — The first snowstorm of 2025 may be over, but we are still feeling its effects with icy roads and blustery winds. Public and private schools throughout Maryland, D.C., and Virginia have announced their schedules for tomorrow, which include closures in some of the larger districts.

Here are the closures that have been announced so far:

Maryland schools:

• Prince George’s County Public Schools: Closed Wednesday
• Montgomery County Public Schools: Closed Wednesday
• Charles County Schools: Closed Wednesday
• Calvert County Schools: Closed Wednesday

Virginia schools:

• Fairfax County Schools: Closed Wednesday
• Loudoun County Schools: Closed Wednesday
• Prince William County Schools: Closed Wednesday
• Manassas City Public Schools: Closed Wednesday
• Manassas Park City Schools: Closed Wednesday
• Fauquier County Schools: Closed Wednesday

As of 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, D.C. Public Schools will operate normally on Wednesday.
