“We have such a great respect for Pitt. They make us better, and we hopefully make them better because we’re pushing each other each year in the conference,” Anna DeBeer said. “It’s such a good rivalry. Everyone claims it might be one of the biggest ones. They’re just a great team to play. So we’re really excited to see how it goes.”
Pitt (33-1) ranks first nationally in hitting percentage (.332) and opponent hitting percentage (.127) while ranking in the top 10 for blocks per set (2.87) and aces/set (1.97).
