Noah Centineo: Yeah!
Anna Cathcart: Hello.
Noah Centineo: First day.
Anna Cathcart: First day. After two years for me and five years since he did Peter.
Noah Centineo: That’s great.
Anna Cathcart: Crazy.
Crew: Cameras set. And action!
Anna Cathcart: And to be back with Noah is so fun ’cause we haven’t been together in a scene since I was 16.
[CLIP] Kitty Song-Covey (Anna Cathcart): What is the best text you’ve ever gotten from a girl?
[CLIP] Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo): I’m sorry. What?
Noah Centineo: We’re shooting episode 6. Peter comes into town for a lacrosse tournament with Stanford.
[Kitty squeals, Peter laughs]
[CLIP] Kitty Song-Covey (Anna Cathcart): I’m so happy you’re here!
[laughs]
Anna Cathcart: The best part is now getting to work together, but at a different stage of our characters’ lives, but also our own lives is so wild. Like, “Oh, we’re here and it’s us, but it’s a different kind of us in movie world but also in our own lives.”
Noah Centineo: It’s so trippy.
Anna Cathcart: Oh, hi. I was like, “Who are we posing for?”
Noah Centineo: Going back to Peter, it’s scary, to be completely honest, right? You reopen something that… that I did five years ago. It was very, very special, and you want to do it justice, you know? You want to do fans justice and the character and world justice. You don’t want to let anyone down, so quite frankly, it’s scary. In the third movie, he was stuck at Stanford doing his tour. He didn’t get to go with the family to Seoul. But he finally made it.
[CLIP] Kitty Song-Covey (Anna Cathcart): It’s surreal in the best way.
Anna Cathcart: I have fake nails under my red nails because my fake nails are episode 1, 2, 3, 4 nails. And my red nails are episode 5, 6, 7, 8 nails. So that’s what we’ve been struggling with today.
Noah Centineo: These are things that we deal with on a day-to-day basis. Hour to hour.
Anna Cathcart: You never know.
Noah Centineo: Reuniting with Kitty and with Anna was amazing and surreal and wonderful. She’s so talented. It’s so incredible to just watch her work. Every take, she does something different, but coming back here and working with Anna, there’s magic to this whole universe that Jenny’s created.
[upbeat music playing]
