Romeo Doubs injury update: Packers wide receiver evaluated for concussion, leaves playoff game vs Eagles

Romeo Doubs is being evaluated for a concussion after hitting his head on the field during the Green Bay Packers’ wild-card playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Doubs, who is wearing a Guardian Cap to protect his head after returning from a concussion he suffered earlier this season, came crashing down on the field hard after going up for a catch in the end zone in the third quarter.

The injury happened with the Packers trailing 10-0 at 6:55 left in the third quarter.

Love looked for Doubs, who was defended by two Eagles defenders. The ball hit off Doubs’ hands before he fell to the ground.

He needed the assistance of trainers to walk off the field and went to the locker room.

Packers injury report vs Eagles

The injury is the latest for the Packers in the game.

Offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins (stinger) and defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt (lower leg) have both left Sunday’s game with injuries.

Wide receiver Jayden Reed, who led the Packers in receiving yards on Sunday, also left the game with a shoulder injury and is questionable to return.

The Packers were already playing without wide receiver Christian Watson, who tore his ACL in last week’s game against the Chicago Bears.
