Solid first half for the Scarlet Knights, who have 319 total yards of offense.

Big game so far from Antwan Raymond, who had 104 rushing yards on eight carries with two touchdowns in the first half.

Athan Kaliakmanis is 8-of-18 passing for 170 yards.

Rutgers’ defense has been shaky, but showed some improvement in the second quarter. Robert Longerbeam had a big INT to kill a Wildcats drive late in the half and helped set Rutgers up for a field goal to extend its lead.

QB Avery Johnson keeps it and runs it in from two yards out for a touchdown.

It’s 10-7 Wildcats, who have 144 total yards of offense so far. Rutgers’ defense is having a tough time so far.

The Wildcats got down to the Rutgers 11 with the help of a 43-yard run by Dylan Edwards, but QB Avery Johnson throws three straight incomplete passes and Kansas State has to settle for a 29-yard field goal.

It looks like Greg Schiano is calling defensive plays with Joe Harasymiak now the head coach at UMass. Schiano said earlier this week they’d call plays as a staff, but it looks like (from our vantage point at least) he’s the one making the calls.
