Sling TV is a streaming service that also gives subscribers access to live TV from networks like ABC, FOX, and NBC as well as on-demand content from hubs like Disney, AMC, Discovery, Hallmark, and Showtime. There are two baseline Sling TV subscriptions, each of which offers access to different channels.

The Orange subscription gives you access to 35 total channels including Disney Channel, ESPN, and QVC for $46 a month. This plan allows streaming on only one device at a time, but it does come with 50 hours of DVR storage. The Blue subscription, which also costs $46 a month, offers access to 43 channels, including Bravo, National Geographic, and SyFy. You’ll also get 50 hours of DVR storage and the ability to stream on three different devices at once.If there are channels in each plan you’d like access to, you can also spring for the $61 combined Orange & Blue plan.

Max, formerly known as HBO Max, is a streaming service that gives users access to HBO originals like The White Lotus, content across the DC universe, popular mainstream films, reality TV shows, Max originals like Hacks, and more, plus access to the Max app. The price for Max on its own ranges from $10 to $20 per month, depending on whether or not you select an ad-free plan.
