Severance’s Adam Scott and Co-Stars Go to Work in Pop-Up Cubicles at New York’s Grand Central — Watch Video

Severances employees can get their work done anywhere, apparently — even in one of the busiest train stations in the country.

With Season 2 of the Apple TV+ drama premiering this Friday, stars Adam Scott (Mark), Britt Lower (Helly) and Zach Cherry (Dylan) made an appearance at New York City’s Grand Central on Tuesday for a Severance-themed promotional pop-up, working at Lumon-style cubicles as their Severance characters.

Executive producer Ben Stiller shared photos on social media of Scott, Lower and Cherry hard at work as commuters gawked at them while passing through the train station’s cavernous main concourse. He also posted video of Scott’s Mark running a carpet sweeper over the green carpet surrounding their cubicles — because who doesn’t like a tidy workspace? (Praise Kier.)

Severance stars Scott as Mark, a worker drone at the mysterious Lumon corporation who has undergone a surgical procedure to separate his work memories from his personal memories — a separation that became more hazy as Season 1 unfolded. In Season 2, “Mark and his friends learn the dire consequences of trifling with the severance barrier, leading them further down a path of woe,” per the official description.

Along with Lower and Cherry, the supporting cast includes John Turturro, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus, Dichen Lachman, Christopher Walken and Patricia Arquette, with Sarah Bock joining the cast in Season 2 as new deputy manager Miss Huang. Series creator Dan Erickson returns as writer and executive producer.
