MIAMI, Fla. – January 8, 2025 – Telemundo, the exclusive U.S. home of Chivas de Guadalajara, is set to deliver comprehensive coverage of all Chivas home matches during the Liga MX Clausura 2025 tournament. Matches will air across Telemundo, Universo, and Peacock, accompanied by the network’s signature 1-hour pregame and 30-minute postgame show, Fútbol Estelar Chivas Extra.
The tournament kicks off with Chivas taking on Santos on Saturday, January 11, at 8 p.m. ET, airing simultaneously on Telemundo, Universo, and Peacock. The action begins with Fútbol Estelar Chivas Extra at 7 p.m. ET on Universo and Peacock. Onsite coverage led by Zona Mixta host Veronica Rodriguez, featuring exclusive one-on-one interview with Chivas’ new head coach Oscar Garcia Junyent and newly signed Minnesota United defender Miguel “Micky” Tapias. Play-by-play provided by network sports commentator Jorge Calvo with expert analysis by Chivas de Guadalajara veteran Manuel Sol.
English-language coverage will be available on Peacock and SiriusXM.
Additionally, Telemundo’s digital platforms will provide exclusive live coverage of Chivas Femenil and Chivas’ youth teams throughout the season featuring exclusive player interviews and game highlights. Select Chivas Femenil matches will also air on Universo.
