Season 3 of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On has come to a close.
The Netflix reality series, co-hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, dropped its final two episodes on Wednesday, Dec. 18, giving fans long awaited answers as to what happened for each couple and who is still together today.
Season 3 followed six couples — Scotty Lewis and Aria De Westbrooks, Dave Adams and Vanessa Hattaway, Caleb Lefterys and Mariah Zernik, Micah Hardeman and Chanel Watkins, Nick Tramontin and Sandy Gallagher, and Zaina Sesay and J.R Warren — though only four of them stayed through the entire process. At the reunion, all but one couple returned to give fans an update on their lives.
So who got engaged in the finale? And are those couples still together today? Scroll down to learn where all six pairs stand after the show.

In the season 3 finale, Caleb ended up proposing to Mariah after gaining clarity in their relationship. And though Mariah was shocked and it took her a moment to respond out of disbelief, she ultimately said yes.
“It’s so surreal right now. I can’t believe we’re engaged… This is what true happiness feels like,” Mariah said after the proposal. “This was really the one last piece missing for me and to know I have such a strong man next to me in this, I feel really blessed.”
At the reunion, they confirmed that they’re still engaged a year later and plan to tie the knot in a destination wedding in summer 2026.
They also remained an united front, even though Aria (Caleb’s trial marriage parnter) accused Caleb of liking her Instagram Stories and blocking/unblocking her on social media after getting engaged. Mariah later called out Caleb for insisting his emotional connection with Aria was simply platonic and said it was hurtful to watch unfold in front of cameras.
“Leaving the show, it was a moment to restart building from a healthy place,” Caleb said. “Leaving [the show], I had to take accountability for my actions and really take note of who I had become in this.”

Scotty and Aria had a tearful proposal day, in which they reflected on the “difficulty” and “doubt” they faced in the relationship. Calling it their “greatest triumph together as a couple,” Scotty then got down on one knee and proposed to Aria.
“I choose you right now, today, and for all of my tomorrows,” Scotty said. “Because you are not just a woman that I want to be with, you are the woman that I can’t be without.”
Aria said yes to his proposal — but at the reunion, they revealed they’re no longer together and Aria broke off the engagement just one day later. “I realized I made a mistake pretty fast after,” Aria said.
Despite their decision to keep dating afterwards and “work through” their issues by attending couple’s therapy, Scotty and Aria ultimately couldn’t find a resolution. Aria also dropped the bombshell that in the wake of their split, her grandmother died and she suffered a miscarriage.
“You don’t love me the way I want to be loved,” she said through tears, pointing out that she was tired of waiting and listening to Scotty’s excuses. “I’m not just giving up on the relationship because I don’t care, it’s because I’m tired and I’m emotionally exhausted.”
For his part, Scotty said he’ll “always be there” for Aria and apologized to her for his actions, though he was clearly heartbroken by their split.

After a rollercoaster journey on the show, Sandy and Nick entered proposal day with their relationship in a state of uncertainty — largely in part from Nick’s behaviors while Sandy was in her trial marriage with J.R.
Nick ended up disclosing that he had a ring in his pocket, but Sandy stopped him before he could propose, noting that they still had “things we have to work through.” In the end, the two decided to go their separate ways with no proposal in the finale.
“I came here to get answers. I feel like I got the answers I need. it’s not the answers I wanted. It breaks my heart tremendously,” Nick said afterwards.
During the reunion, Nick claimed he didn’t actually have a ring at the proposal and had no intentions to propose. The two also confirmed they are not together anymore. Later on, Nick revealed that Sandy helped him check into rehab after he started “drinking a lot” post-show, and Sandy opened up about feeling “bombarded” by Nick’s actions “every day” for the last year.
“I’m really exhausted with my relationship with Nick,” Sandy said through her tears, prompting Nick to own up to the “emotionally aggressive energy” he directed at Sandy.
“I’m sorry that I f—ed it up for you in whatever way,” Nick said.

Like Sandy and Nick, J.R. and Zaina had a bumpy journey on the show. On proposal day, J.R. praised Zaina for how she’d “make a fantastic wife [and] mother” and said he envisioned himself loving her and giving her everything he has.
But then he changed his tune. “I can see all of that with you, and when I look at myself now, I don’t think I’m at that point to give you what you deserve,” he said, before confirming he wanted to leave the show single.
At the reunion, the two revealed they were still broken up, though Zaina did initially try to get back together. They also argued about their perspectives on the timeline of their breakup and whether J.R. needed closure, before Zaina revealed that J.R. allegedly asked her out to a birthday dinner but then canceled the night of and never rescheduled.
Zaina also called out J.R. for “downplaying” the details of his trial marriage with Sandy and called him “gross” when a video compilation played showing him making inappropriate comments and remarks to other cast members about only being on the show for a “hall pass.”
Today, both J.R. and Zaina are still single. J.R. said he’s not dating anyone and currently in therapy, while Zaina said she’s dating around and recently froze her eggs for her 33rd birthday.

After leaving the show early in episode 4, Dave and Vanessa returned for the season 3 reunion. They confirmed that they are still together and recently went ring shopping, with a proposal “coming soon.”
“It did help us progress in many different ways,” Vanessa said, as Dave added, “It was very enlightening for both of us to see that we were aligned… I am still 100% wanting to marry Vanessa and that is the clear next step.”
The two also used their time at the reunion to discuss the reason behind their early exit, with Vanessa saying she felt “uncomfortable” by certain conversations with Nick and the lies he allegedly told, along with the unresolved “trauma” he had in his life.
“The first day living with you, it was like I rode 15 rollercoasters with you and I don’t know anyone that would’ve wanted to stay in that,” Vanessa said, adding that she left without giving Nick a heads up because “I don’t owe” him anything.
[Editor’s note: Nick previously issued a statement to PEOPLE, saying he was “surprised” by Vanessa’s claims on the show. “I was blindsided by the negativity and disdain directed toward me,” he said, in part. “I acknowledged and apologized numerous times if my being upset made her uncomfortable. She accepted my apology and made it clear that I wasn’t the sole reason she left the show. I genuinely wish them the best and hope they find happiness and kindness. I also hope they’ll choose compassion over attacking the character of someone they only spent two intense, emotional days with.”]

Micah and Chanel left the show early in episode 4, alongside Dave and Vanessa. They did not return for the reunion to shed light on the reason behind their early departure, but it appears they are still together based on their social media accounts.
